Crafting an Enigmatic Speakeasy Atmosphere in the Heart of Kyiv (Engineering, Custom Design, Manufacturing, and Installation)

The Objective.

Loggerhead is an iconic hidden bar in Kyiv, renowned for its premium mixology and unique location within historic vaulted cellars. For such an intimate venue, lighting plays a crucial role. Our goal was to create a deep, magnetic atmosphere that delicately highlights the historic architecture and interior details while maintaining the sense of absolute privacy, shadows, and mystery inherent to a true speakeasy.

Our Full-Cycle Process for Loggerhead Bar:

Atmospheric Design: We crafted a sophisticated, low-light environment where the perfect interplay of light and shadow gently guides guests and sets a profoundly intimate mood.
Architectural Integration: Through delicate up-lighting of the historic brickwork and copper elements, we visually expanded the depth of the vaults without over-illuminating the space.
Bar Counter Focus: We engineered precision spotlighting for the bartenders' workspace. This turned the cocktail-making process into a captivating theatrical performance, creating beautiful reflections on glassware and ice.
Custom Manufacturing: Producing bespoke metal and glass fixtures that flawlessly blend into the venue's industrial-premium and slightly brutalist aesthetic.
